The name Tawazawadi was born from two meaningful words brought together: Tawa, inspired by the Hopi word associated with the sun and sunbeam, and Zawadi, the Swahili word for a precious gift. Together, they reflect the heart of this shop — a place where meaningful treasures come together to bring sunshine into the world.

Tawazawadi is my gift to the world — something I hold close to my heart, almost like a child of its own. It was born from loss, healing, and hope, with the desire to bring a little more buoyancy, light, and love into the lives of others.
